Weekend to End Breast Cancer

We wanted to let everyone know that we are doing the breast cancer walk -it is the weekend of September 8th, and it is 60km.

We have to raise at least $2000 each to be in, and our goal is $3000 each. I know that most of you guys are either students or broke (or both) but every $20 brings us that much closer to our goal :)

So I think that the reason that I haven't posted in so long is that I only do when there is some work that I really need to do, but that I want to ignore.
So now that I need to write an essay proposal it seems like a good time to post :)
We are going to do our registry tonight - so that should be really really fun. We also got a bunch of wedding stuff done on the break - the centrepieces, my dress, the bridesmaids dresses, the cake and started on the flowers...its nice making so much progress so fast!
I think there was something else, but now I forget....oh well....

Well I went home to do my driver's test, and it turns out that I took a 2 hour drive and skipped a quiz to find out that the driving people won't let you do your test if you have a crack in your windshield. Thanks a lot for the info jerks !!
To make my day even worse I got out of the car to go get back in their stupid line and I left my keys in the car and I had to take a $20 taxi ride home. It may be unfair to blame that on the driving people too, but it still makes me hate them even more becuase it happened in thier parking lot because their guy failed me before I even got to drive.
Worst. day. ever.
At least there was a pet shop guy that let me use his phone, and my parents are going to take me out for dinner.
Since I am on my daddy's laptop I'll post a pic that I don't have on my computer. ...hmmm...

So last night we went out to see Rick McGhie....you know that man is my hero, seriously. The bar was pretty empty which made me a little sad because whe Rick is there it should be full. But at least there was a random guy who kept dropping his pants and a girl and guy got into a fight over whether it was cool to yell "I'm already dead".

I'm really just wiritng so I don't have to study....one day when I have actual time I will scan my pics from grade 9. They are quality.

Well today went to see Sue talk...it was similar to last year, but it was still funny.
The best memorable quote that I forgot from last year - the female reproductive system looks like a moose coming through the brush. hehehe
There were other parts that I forgot, but that's because I blocked them out. I would prefer not to talk about these things so maybe I will forget them again. This is unlikely but possible.

You know people seem to go kinda crazy in midterm season. The other day I walked out of Talbot college and I saw a guy standing all by himself, making a really loud honking noise at a bunch of Canadian geese. I was the only one around, and I guess I gave him a weird look cause he explained to me that he was trying to speak to them.

Anyways back to the essays! And how cute is this....

I heard that the preliminary exam schedule was up, and then I discovered that I only have 1 Christmas exam. And then - I checked the thing and if it stays the way it is I will be done school on....DECEMBER 9!
I WILL HAVE A MONTH OFF!!!

OK, no where good. I am in the library doing one of those things about the library searching thing...apparently someone forgot we are in third year and have already written a million essays. Only 5 people came to class for this. Lesson learned: I should be less of a good kid and not go to class for this stuff. Oh well.
You know I'm doing this post just because Noah told me to. I always do exactly what Noah says. And because I'm really bored. The library catalogue isn't that complicated. My teacher seems to find it brilliant though.

I let the blog be resurrected but it died again. But it was because work was bringing me down and so I only had bitter things to say about people who make me INCREDIBLY ANGRY. SO THEN LAST WEEK (oops left the caps on) I decided that I should start having fun at work again, after all, just because there are really stupid people around making stupid comments doesn't mean that I should pay attention to them.
The resolution to cheerful didn't pan out though because of one insulting comment from one ignorant co-worker. And in that moment I came closer to punching someone than ever before, but somehow didn't. But this week my resolution will work, becuase I only have about 18 days left at work, so why do I care?
Sorry...that was my long excuse for letting my blog die yet again. I think that I will keep it up more during school because I am less tired and there is more happening. The only stuff happening now is at work and it seems like not the best idea to talk about my work on the internet. Maybe later.
So a few week sago we went to Geoff's aunt and uncle's wedding, which was really nice. It was the first time I have seen a civil ceremony and I thought it was great :)

Well its a let down going back to work...well at least there is officially only 2 months left! And the next fun time (Briana's keg party) we will away - we are going to Geoff's uncle's wedding. Oh well that should be nice too. (Incidently over the weekend my mom was at a wedding in Cleveland over the weekend in Cleveland and she came back with the overwhelming feeling that we have a milllion things to do to get ready for next August...it is coming up fast :) At least Noah and Diana are coming up this Friday so thats awesome...

OK...well I don't have anything actual to say, I just have a goal to keep up the blog better than ever. And since there is a new thing that you can just click to put in a picture there will be many more, as you can see from my last few posts. (Even though some of them don't work, making me incredibly angry, then I'm yelling obsenities at my computer and Geoff tells me not to get angry, and then when it works I do a happy dance). Plus I have some pure gold on my computer that people might not even have seen...

Like these ones from high school when we went shopping for prom dresses and just decided to try on the ugliest ones ever...(some of them were real...like that blue one I'm wearing, it was just too expensive)

OK, new plan...while I was looking for some pics of the cottage I found some more...remember when Geoff just got a camera and we got bored and started taking close-ups of everyone's faces? Well those pics have been unearthed and have come back to haunt you....bwa haha

The most anticipated time of the summer has arrived. I got the time off to go to Brian's cottage...it took me working a 15 hour day to get it but it was worth it! This year it is going to be super fun...

Also I got Thursday off so we are going to get to see mommys and daddys. That's good because I'm not sure when we'll be home next, at least the weekend of August 14th because my mom is having a '40 years in Canada' party for the family.

Well now that I am done exams I feel so great...
I will probably have to work everyday for a while now to make up for the time I took to write exams, but that's ok, at least I will make lots of money! As long as they don't make me work on Saturday morning its all good.
Tonight we are going to use Brian and Melissa's present for Geoff (Thanks guys!!) and go out for an anniversary dinner, because we both had too many exams around our real anniversary so we had to to postpone it. So for the purposes of today - we have been dating for 4 years!

Well it's not old, but it is a convertible and it is cool looking!
And the weird thing is - they got another 666 license plate, only a few months after they took the Dynasty to the wreckers...it is the devilmobile reincarnated...but in way better form!

Not that I can drive it, my insurance is getting cancelled :( It has become too expensive and I won't be home!

Well I am officially a hospital cafeteria lady! I will have money...I have to work part time a little during exams but that's ok, I have a spread out exam schedule. Yay no more looking for jobs.
My boss seems really nice, and I am going for training tomorrow. :)

2 Job Interviews...

Well I got 2 interviews in the span of 2 minutes, finally.
One is at the cafteria of a hospital. I'm hoping that the exposure to a hospital setting will help me to learn more realistic ways of acting the part of a naughty nurse. Now you everyone will have to be careful about complaining about hospital food because it may be my cooking!
Also I have a phone interview - it is to ask Western alumni for donations. I'm pretty nervous about this one because I don't think I come off very well on the phone!
Oh well...by tomorrow we shall see...

ay we are going away for reading week! We are flying to Houston and taking a 7 day cruise! It goes from Houston to Progresso to Cozemel to Belize and then back.
